I can't bake. I'm a stress case.
As a self-proclaimed type-A personality, I tend to think I can do EVERYTHING and do everything well. I also tend to try to do EVERYTHING all AT ONCE, thereby taking on too much, and imploding. Most of my forays into the world of baking end in tears and a smokey kitchen. So naturally, I have decided to combine the two. Enter in my baking project.
I've been told by various people that I need a hobby. Something to channel my tension, anxiety, and frustration into. Why not bake? One woman. 100 recipes. 365 days. Has this idea been done to death? Oh yeah, you betcha. I even stole THIS particular idea from one of Stephen's friends down at school. What better way to FORCE myself to learn to bake, but by trial by fire? I'M GAME.
Here we go. I'm going to try every TASTY baking recipe I encounter: pies, cobblers, cookies, cakes, brownies, breads, muffins, scones, you name it, I'll give it a shot. I'm even welcome to suggestions. Wanna be a guinea pig? I'll bring you on board. Heck, I may even provide moments of wisdom and wit in my blogs, when I'm feeling crazy! Is this overly ambitious? Probably. Here goes nothing.
